Introduction to Math Skills Training at Hillhouse:
At Hillhouse Educational Consulting, we place a great deal of emphasis on training each student in math skills. We not only focus on the training of mathematical knowledge and skills, but also encourage students to use what they have learned to solve real-world problems and strengthen their math application skills. In actual teaching, in addition to strengthening the training of word application problems and projects in schoolwork and competitions, we also emphasize on the research of mathematical thesis (research summer school, scientific research competitions), training of mathematical modeling competitions, and research on the combination of statistics and AI, life sciences or humanities, etc. ... Today's focus is the upcoming World Secondary School Mathematical Modeling Contest. World Mathematical Modeling Competition for Secondary School Students.
Mathematical Modeling Competition Competition Introduction:
Hillhouse is now offering tutoring for the Mathematical Modeling Competition for HiMCM 2024, an international mathematical modeling competition designed specifically for high school students and sponsored by COMAP, a leading international educational organization. The competition aims to develop students' ability to apply mathematics, logical thinking , creativity and writing skills through teamwork and the use of mathematical modeling to solve complex problems in real life…
HiMCM not only enjoys a high reputation worldwide, but also provides a broad stage for students to demonstrate their mathematical talents and innovative thinking. High school students who participate in and win the HiMCM competition are usually accepted into top US schools in mathematics, applied mathematics, engineering, business school and other popular majors, which is highly prestigious.
We Hillhouse Educational Consulting with Model Numbers Contests:
- Hillhouse Educational Consulting has an extensive teaching and research teaching team for modeling competitions. The Head of Teaching and Research for Model Numbers Competition has organized teams and coached students to win Outstanding (First Prize), Finalist (Second Prize), and Meritorious (Third Prize) ) awards in HiMCM. Hillhouse has excellent math teaching team. Our teachers who graduated with excellent mathematics majors have rich experience in modeling competitions, are familiar with various types of problems, and have their own innovative ideas in model selection and optimization.
- Several Hillhouse teachers have won first and third place national awards at the graduate level and second place awards at the provincial level. They have accumulated a lot of experience in modeling competitions at both graduate and undergraduate levels. At the same time, the teachers also have extensive teaching experience, having led teams of high school students in modeling competitions.
- Our Hillhouse students won last year's World Mathematical Modeling Competition, where 2-4 students from the same school could form a team, and this year, students from our Lordbyng, St George's, Crofton, and Sentinel schools were considered to form a team, and there was an opportunity for Year 12 students to take part as well, with a junior team that we selected students on merit.
